Lucciola Wine Club NYC x Ricasoli
Nine Centuries of Chianti Classico at the Table
A six-course wine dinner exploring the historic vineyards of Castello di Brolio, guided by Barone Francesco Ricasoli and paired with a tasting menu by Executive Chef Michele Casadei Massari.
Lucciola Wine Club NYC presents an intimate evening with Ricasoli, one of Italy’s most historic wine estates and a defining name in the evolution of Chianti Classico.
Historic vineyards of Castello di Brolio
The Ricasoli family has been connected to Castello di Brolio since 1141. Across more than nine centuries, the estate has shaped the history of Tuscan wine while continuing to study the distinctive soils and vineyards of its land.
In the nineteenth century, Bettino Ricasoli developed the foundation of the modern Chianti formula. Today, Barone Francesco Ricasoli carries that legacy forward through research, precision, and a deep focus on individual vineyard identity.
This dinner will offer a journey through the estate, from single-vineyard Sangiovese and the flagship Castello di Brolio to Casalferro and the traditional Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.
Barone Francesco Ricasoli will join Wine Director Alberto Ghezzi to share the history, philosophy, and character behind each wine.
Executive Chef Michele Casadei Massari will present a six-course seasonal tasting menu created to bring every label and vintage into focus.
This is the essence of the Lucciola Wine Club: an intimate table where wine, cuisine, history, and conversation come together.
