The Menu
Amuse-Bouche – Laurent-Perrier Brut La Cuvée
Sweet Potato Pavé with Escargot & Velouté of Leeks
A refined opening that layers warmth, texture, and surprise. The silky pavé carries the earthy delicacy of escargot, balanced by the freshness of Brut La Cuvée.
Welcome Course – Cuvée Héritage
Crudo of Ricciola with Sicilian Citrus, Pink Pepper & Wild Herbs
A clean and essential start. The bright, saline freshness of Cuvée Héritage resonates with the delicate ricciola, while citrus and herbs echo the wine’s layered tension.
First Course – Grand Siècle N°26
Risotto with Gorgonzola Dolce, Lobster & Saffron Threads
The umami of saffron and the sweetness of lobster are lifted by the creamy intensity of Gorgonzola Dolce. Grand Siècle N°26 responds with vibrant freshness, cutting through richness while echoing layered depth.
Second Course – Grand Siècle N°24 (Magnum)
Tortellone filled with Ricotta with butter and White Truffle
A dish that speaks directly of Lucciola. The creamy filling meets truffle’s earthy perfume, while the Champagne’s maturity in magnum highlights delicate tertiary notes.
Main Course – Grand Siècle N°23 (Magnum)
Milk-Fed Veal Tenderloin with Pecorino & Bone Marrow, Porcini & Caviar
Here the Champagne’s layered richness meets true decadence: tender veal elevated by a sauce of Pecorino and roasted bone marrow, deepened with porcini, and crowned by caviar’s saline elegance. A dialogue between land and sea at its most luxurious.
Dessert – Grand Siècle Les Réserves N°20 (Magnum)
Latte in Piedi with Figs & Millefiori Honey
A Lucciola signature reimagined for Champagne. Silky custard paired with caramelized figs and wildflower honey reflects the evolved layers of N°20, recalling autolytic richness and notes of aged brioche.
The Soul of Grand Siècle: Château de Louvois
At the heart of Grand Siècle lies Château de Louvois, the historic estate owned by Laurent-Perrier since 1989. Nestled among the Grands Crus of Champagne, this 17th-century château was designed by the great masters of the era—Mansart, Le Nôtre, and Vauban—whose work also shaped Versailles. The château's gardens, orangerie, and architecture reflect the very ideals that define Grand Siècle itself: grace, symmetry, and timeless refinement.
The estate’s royal lineage is equally remarkable. Once home to Marie-Antoinette, Louis XIV, and later the daughters of Louis XV, Château de Louvois represents centuries of French heritage and aristocratic grandeur. Today, under Laurent-Perrier’s stewardship, it has been lovingly restored, recognized as a Historic Monument in 2015, and honored with the Pierre Cheval Prize in 2023 for excellence in preservation.
Grand Siècle: The Art of Assembling Perfection
Grand Siècle is not a vintage Champagne.
It is beyond vintage—a visionary expression of precision, harmony, and ambition. Inspired by the golden age of French art and culture under Louis XIV, Le Grand Siècle, this Prestige Cuvée represents Laurent-Perrier’s relentless pursuit of an ideal: to recreate the perfect vintage through assemblage.
Where most Houses bottle the identity of a single year, Grand Siècle blends three exceptional vintages, carefully chosen for their unique strengths:
One provides structure
Another, finesse
And the third, freshness
This concept, introduced by Bernard de Nonancourt, results in a cuvée greater than the sum of its parts—a carefully crafted masterpiece that nature alone could never guarantee.
Each numbered edition expresses this philosophy:
Grand Siècle N°26 – the current release, showcasing ideal balance and elegance
Grand Siècle N°24 and N°23 – served in magnum, offering depth and complexity developed over time
Grand Siècle Les Réserves N°20 – a rare library release, aged to perfection in large format
All expressions are aged at least 10 years on the lees, bottled in a vessel inspired by 17th-century hand-blown glass, and crafted exclusively from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Grand Cru vineyards.
A Legacy in Every Pour
Grand Siècle is not just Champagne.
It is a philosophy of excellence, a tribute to heritage, and a demonstration of what is possible when skill, patience, and vision unite.
It is Champagne not defined by one great year—
but by the greatness of three.
The Laurent-Perrier Style
Under the leadership of Bernard de Nonancourt, Laurent-Perrier redefined Champagne with a signature style rooted in freshness, elegance, and purity. Innovations like temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and plot-by-plot vinification allowed the House to craft distinct cuvées with remarkable consistency and terroir expression.
A Partner of Gastronomy
Since the 1950s, Laurent-Perrier has forged deep ties with the world’s top chefs and culinary institutions. Each cuvée is crafted to complement fine French cuisine from aperitif through dessert—making this dinner not just a tasting, but a full celebration of Champagne’s place at the table.
